Original vintage travel poster advertising Deutsche Lufthansa Fly Also In Winter / Flyv-Ogsaa Om Vinteren! Great artwork featuring a view from a plane window over snowy fields and snow topped mountains on the horizon with a propeller plane marked Lufthansa D-DLAG and a German Nazi swastika flag (*) on the tail flying against the blue sky below the Lufthansa crane logo and stylised lettering running diagonally in black outline, the rest of the text below. (*Note: the 1935-1945 flag of Germany featuring the swastika has been covered in the image but appears as originally printed on the poster itself.) Formed in 1926, Deutsche Luft Hansa A.G. became Deutsche Lufthansa in 1933; the company's crane logo was designed by Otto Firle in 1918. Very good condition, restored pinholes, minor staining, backed on linen.
