Original vintage poster for the World Fair held in New York at Flushing Meadows-Corona Park from 30 April 1939 to 31 October 1940. Great Art Deco design of a smiling young lady wearing a stylish hat and holding up one arm in front of a firework display illuminating the modernist structures - the Trylon and Perisphere - of the fair behind her, more people watching the display and colourful flags on the side, the text above in blue and yellow letters. Artwork by the American designer Albert Staehle (1899-1974). Printed by Grinnell Litho. Co., Inc., N.Y.C. Excellent condition, backed on linen.
