Original vintage drink advertising poster - Paul Bunyan Honestly Great in Quality and Pleasure - featuring a great image of a smiling bearded man in a checked red and white shirt with green trousers and braces, holding an axe over his shoulder and standing above a snowy landscape with a building, trees and hills below the blue sky background, a frothy pint of beer in glass on the side with the bold white title text below and slogan in red along the bottom. Paul Bunyan is a giant lumberjack character from French Canadian and American folklore originating from the oral history of loggers told as stories in lumbercamps. Paul Bunyan beer was brewed in Waukesha Wisconsin from the 1950s. Very good condition, restored creasing, restored tear, backed on linen.
