Original vintage motor sport poster for Lotus-Ford 49 featuring a great illustration of a green and gold Lotus 49 car marked with the number 6 and Team Lotus logo on the side. Designed by Colin Chapman and Maurice Philippe for the 1967 Formula One season, the Lotus 49 F1 racing car model won two Drivers' Championships with the British racing driver Graham Hill (1929-1975) in 1968 and German racing driver Jochen Rindt (1942-1970) in 1970; Team Lotus was the sister company of the British automotive company Lotus Cars Limited (founded 1948) that manufactures sports cars and racing cars. The 49 model was the first F1 car to be powered by the Ford Cosworth DFV engine. Horizontal. Large size. Good condition, staining, foxing, restored creasing, backed on linen.
