Original vintage train travel poster advertising reduced fares from 1 to 15 September 1927 for visitors to the Jaarbeurs fair - Jaarbeurs Utrecht verlaagd reizigerstarief voor Jaarbeursbezoekers - featuring a great Art Deco design by Henri Christiaan Pieck (1895-1972) in black and white with a dramatic red shaded border depicting the brick and stained glass building designed by the architect George Willem van Heukelom (1870-1952), De Inktpot / The Inkwell building (HGB III Hoofdadministratiegebouw / Main Administration Building; opened 1921), in front of a steam train on the railway track by the Utrecht central station and the stylised title lettering above and with the logo below, the information in a text box on the side. Good condition, restored folds, restored creasing, restored tear, restored paper loss, staining, backed on linen.
