The champion alpine ski racer from Austria Walter Foeger (1917-2007) developed the Natur Teknik parallel skiing teaching method worldwide and transformed the Jay Peak mountain in Vermont into a major ski area: he was elected to the US National Ski Hall of Fame in 2005.
