Original vintage Soviet propaganda poster for the International Women's Day celebrations - 8 ????? / 8 March - featuring three ladies smiling to the viewer with the date above against a blue sky background. Starting in New York in February 1909, International Women's Day has been celebrated on 8th March since 1914; March 8 became a national holiday in Soviet Russia after women gained the right to vote in 1917; in 1975 the holiday was adopted by the United Nations. Horizontal. Good condition, folds, creasing, tears, staining, paper skimming.
