Original Vintage travel poster for Elgin Cathedral This famous old Cathedral in north east Scotland dates from 1224 A.D. See Scotland by Train British Railways. Great artwork by Jack Merriott (1901-1968) of the historic Elgin Cathedral ruins viewed from the other side of the River Lossie with a tree next to the old stone bridge and the sky visible through the old vaulted archway windows and rose window opening. Published by British Railways Scottish Region. Printed by Stafford & Co Ltd Netherfield Nottingham. Very good condition, minor staining, backed on linen.
