Original vintage train travel poster issued by the London, Midland and Scottish Railway - LMS North West England - featuring scenic artwork of the Lake District by the British painter Freda Marston (Freda Clulow; 1895-1949) of the Crummock Water lake in the Buttermere Valley with the Honister Crag fell and other hills in the distance, a boat by the shore with people walking around the lake and the sun shining dramatically through the clouds above, the bold title text and LMS logo on the margin below. Horizontal. Large size. Fair condition, creasing, paper losses, repaired tears, staining, backed on card.
