Original vintage travel poster for Australia The World's Loveliest Harbour Sydney featuring a stunning painting by Albert Collins (1883-1951) depicting an aerial view over the docks, bays, lighthouses, beaches and islands of Port Jackson towards the Sydney Heads entrance from the Tasman Sea with a biplane flying in the blue sky over the Circular Quay port with ships and boats sailing on the calm blue water to and from ferry wharves, leading around the coast with various buildings and parks shown including Government House and the trees and lawns of the Royal Botanic Garden Sydney, the image framed by a black line with the bold title text and kangaroo logo of the Australian National Travel Association below - Particulars at shipping and travel agencies. Great artwork of the area pre-Sydney Harbour Bridge (1932), Sydney Opera House (1973) and other iconic landmarks today. Printed by The Moore Young Litho Co. Good condition, restored paper losses, restored tears, restored pinholes, large restored tears through image, restored staining, minor creasing, backed on linen.
