Original vintage travel poster for Riga Visit USSR - Рига Посетите CCCP - issued by the Soviet state tourism agency Intourist featuring tourists exploring the historic city walking past and looking at the Riga Cathedral Church of Saint Mary (founded 1211) with the Latvian Academy of Sciences (founded 1946) visible against the yellow sky in the background, the Intourist logo and text above and stylised lettering below. Founded in 1201 Riga is the capital of Latvia and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Good condition, restored folds, restored tears, restored paper losses, staining, backed on linen.
