About the Item
Original Italian film poster for the 1954 film noir directed by Don Siegel, and stars IDA Lupino, Steve Cochran and Howard Duff. The story follows two detectives who steal thousands of dollars from a dead counterfeiter. They get assigned to look into the case of the missing cash. If this isn't complicated enough, one of them gets involved with a money-grabbing singer, and the other gets a guilty conscience over what they have done.
The artwork on this film noir poster has all the elements of the genre. Rodolfo Gasparri brilliantly captures the film's tense atmosphere.
This poster is in very good condition, with the colors remaining very bright with minor restoration to folds and a couple of minor surface abrasions.
