Self-taught, Raymond Savignac began his career as a poster designer in 1935 at the Alliance Graphique under the tutelage of Cassandre and Loupot. He then became known thanks in particular to a famous advertisement for Monsavon milk soaps. He marked the history of French advertising in the 20th century thanks to his distinctive style characterized by simple, humorous and colorful images. He has collaborated with major French brands such as Air France, Bic and Renault.
