About the Item

Fantastic original country-of-origin first-year-of-release US film poster for 60s classic To Kill a Mockingbird. In this acclaimed adaptation of Harper Lee's To Kill a Mockingbird, Atticus Finch (played by Gregory Peck), a widowed lawyer in Depression-era Alabama, defends a black man (Tom Robnison played by Brock Peters) against an undeserved rape charge, and his children against prejudice. Comes with fantastic provenance. From the personal collection of someone who worked in the cinema industry for over 60 years in New Zealand. Who started out in the late 50s putting the posters up around town, shortly after as a projectionist and from the 1980s onwards, owner of a number of cinemas themselves. This vintage movie poster is sized 27 x 41 inches. It will be sent rolled (unframed). Year 1962 Poster Type US1 Sheet Style - Art By - Rolled/Folded/Other Folded/Rolled Condition Near Mint.
