About the Item
Original German film poster from the former East Germany.
The atmospheric poster was designed by Werner Klemke (1917-1994) for the films first East German release in 1955 the artwork is unique to this release of the film.
Only 500 posters were ever printed for East German film releases.
Umberto D is one of the great Italian Neorealism films directed by Vittorio De Sica and starred Carlo Battisti, Maria Pia Casilio and Lina Gennari.
This poster is conservation linen baked and it would be shipped rolled in a very strong tube and sent by Federal Express.
