About the Item
Exceptional original, Atlanta Arts Festival Piedmont Park 1984 poster. The joyful green, yellow, red, white and blue poster was designed by Larry Connatser. Mr. Connatster was an Atlanta, Georgia native and self-taught artist (b. 1938 – d. 1996). His creative mind was unleashed with paint, often creating expressive scenes with figures in fantastical situations. Connaster’s work was influenced by surrealism and his relationship with music. This poster commissioned by the Arts Festival beautiful conveys the energetic, imaginative, world of Larry Connatser. The poster is housed in a yellow enamel metal frame which suits it perfectly.
