Antique portrait titled 'D. Joh. Texelius A.L.M. Eccl. Rotterod. Pastor et in Athenaeo Ibid. Ss. Theol. ling. gr. et eloq. Professor. Nat. A. LXXXII'. Portrait of Johannes Texelius, pastor at Rotterdam.
Artists and Engravers: Engraved by P. van Gunst after P. van der Werf. P. van Gunst was a Dutch engraver and draughtsman who engraved many portraits after van der Werff, van Dyck and van Hornhorst. Adriaen van der Werff (1659-1722) was a Dutch painter from Rotterdam. He was famous for his classical paintings.
