Antique print titled 'Postwyk apartenant a Mr. Jean Boelema. Original antique prit of the Postwijck manor in Baambrugge and Bergvliet manor. This print originates from 'Arcadie hollandoise, ou la fameuse riviere de L'Amstel by A. Rademaker. Published 1730. Artists and Engravers: Abraham Rademaker (1667-1735), Dutch draughtsman, printmaker and dealer. This self-educated artist lived for some years in Amsterdam, where he married in 1706. He specialized in landscapes depicting Dutch cities and historic monuments. Fantastic scenes and a few portrait studies also belong to his oeuvre. Rademaker's reputation is associated most frequently with his publications of topographical views of the northern Netherlands, the Rhine and Cleves. For his first, and most famous, comprehensive and historically informative publication, Rademaker etched many of his 300 images after well-known 17th century drawings and prints and on his own drawings. Condition: Good, general age-related toning. Minor wear and creasing, light foxing. Blank verso. Please study image carefully. Date: 1730 Overall Size: 25 x 39 cm. Image Size: 19 x 32.5 cm.
