Artists and Engravers: Berghaus was a professor at Berlin and Potsdam who categorically classed all the peoples of the world into ethnological groups subjecting them all to scientific" analysis according to their administrative systems religions customs and modes of dress.
Condition: Fair/good, general age-related toning. Minor wear and soiling. Few small defects, mainly in margins. Blank verso. Please study image carefully.

The engraving was printed in Paris and published by Boussod Valadon & Co. Publishers, the successors to Goupil & Co.
