Genesis 1:1 - 2:11. "The beginning, God." (1:1). First edition. Second issue. 1611 King James 59-line folio, "She" variant, printed in 1611 as a partial correction to the "He" variant, published 1611-1613, in London, by Robert Barker. Reference: Herbert 319A. Distinct from the 1611 "He" variant and all other folio editions or reprints. Two woodcut initials. Size: 16" x 10.25". COA on premium "gold leaf" paper with gold seal and signature. Leaf and COA set in a blue Archival Booklet with archival sleeves (see stock picture in different sizes and colors). The Genesis title leaf (or page) is the premier leaf in any bible, and this one is the premier leaf in any first edition 1611 "She" collection. I have never seen this leaf offered anywhere before, except privately. A rare find!

    Wear consistent with age and use. Minor structural damages. Pin-hole to upper inner corner. Inner margin messy but intact. Inner lower corner wrinkled. Light crease to lower outer corner. The Genesis title leaf is usually the one found to be most damaged, so this leaf has worn its age reasonably well.
