Contemporary abstract lithograph by artist Dan Sayles, circa 1995. This wonderful piece is presented in a black wood frame with white mat and measures 14.75" x 18.75" overall (image is 6" x 10.5"). The art work is in very good condition and is signed and dated in pencil in the lower right corner. #2723
Dan Sayles is a San Diego-based artist whose striking contemporary work is found in many private art collections and commercial settings. Dan Sayles' work includes representational imagery as well as abstract pieces, including large canvases in mixed media.
Sayles is a self-taught artist. He began his career as a house-painter. Inspired by the feel and texture of paints, he began to experiment with paints on canvas. His paintings are most often composed in mixed-media. His philosophy regarding art is to allow the viewer to enjoy the art without revealing the media.
