A large 19th Century engraving by Giovanni Battista Piranesi depicting the decoration on the leg armor worn by a Roman gladiator. The illustration includes masks and emblems of Bacchus. Printed in Paris from the artist's original plates by his son Francesco Piranesi. Measures: Site 20" W x 30". Frame 31" W x 42.5" H x 1" D.
