Antique print titled 'Guerrier de l’Ile Sawoe'. Hand colored woodcut of a warrior of Sawu island, East Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia. He wears a batik headcloth, ikat sarong (skirt), belt with kris, bracelets, and carries a lance and shield. This print originates from Auguste Wahlen's "Moeurs, Usages et Costumes de tous les Peuples du Monde", (Manners, Customs and Costumes of all the People of the World). Published 1845.
