An original modern Japanese woodblock print by Kaoru Kawano (1916-1965) titled “Sacred Crane D”. The print is sealed in the image, pencil signed by the artist below the seal, titled in English and Kanji, and edition 30/200. This print is in very good condition. Fine impression, color and bleed through. Extensive use of silver mica throughout the image. No foxing, toning or folds. Retains original tag. Self-carved self-printed; tissue tag still attached to the verso. Yoseido Gallery, Tokyo.
