An impressive linocut by Edward Bawden entitled "The Albert Bridge". It is hand signed, titled and numbered 16/75 in pencil.
Produced 1966 as part of Bawden's "Nine London Monuments" series it depicts the Albert Bridge in Battersea and Chelsea, London.
It celebrates the monumental scale and geometry of this Victorian suspension bridge.
It is framed and glazed in its original frame and mount. It is in good original condition with the faintest suggestion of foxing in places. This could be removed by any competent picture restorer if required.
