Width: 57 cm Height: 72 cm Depth: 2,5 cm Weight: 4,5 Kg Illustrator, perfect colorist of the "roaring twenties", he magnified an era which he was one of the first to understand would pass through the image that women had of themselves Louis ICART, born in Toulouse in 1888, was the only artist of the "Art Deco" period to combine the elegance of "Rococo", the flamboyance of art nouveau and a modern sense of movement and gesture. Using modern plastic models (high heels, red lipstick and short hair) and perfectly integrating the fashion of his time, Icart gave Paris a soft and seductive image, during the "Art Deco" period. He was enormously popular in his time in France, but also in the United States, where he was nicknamed "The Parisian Dreamer". He notably illustrated “La Nuit et le Moment” by Claude-Prosper Jolyot de Crébillon.
