"Taste" From the Lady with the Unicorn Series. The lady and the unicorn series represent the most refined French court taste at the end of the fifteenth century. The series consists of 6 tapestries. The title piece is entitled “A mon seul desir” meaning “desire” or “freewill” which dictates each of the five senses. Each of the other five tapestries in the series depicts one of the five senses and the personification of that sense, in the form of a lady. Size: 6'8 wide 5'7
