"This is an outstanding one-of-a-kind handmade Antique French Aubusson Tapestry after "Francois Boucher". It is an authentic Continental Verdure Garden tapestry depicting a flirt between a woman washing clothes and a passing man- Botanical design, Soft tones- Artisan work of art! This piece romanticized image of the late Renaissance or early Baroque. In France that is known as Henry IV-style, which was popular with the bourgeoisie, coming into their own during the second half of that century. The work might well be French, perhaps even from a famous manufacturer like Aubusson, but could have been made in a number of countries, like Belgium, as well."
