About the Item

Like the peacock that dances while displaying its most beautiful plumage to seduce its mate, the contortionist struts in a fascinating ballet of languid attitudes. Anyone who watches succumbs to its charm. This is the second of a series of 4 embroidered tapestries that complete the peacock dance. "La Danse du Paon" - embroidered tapestry from the Situations Romantiques exhibition in Paris, November 2023. Hand embroidered tapestry in linen and cotton. Made in our atelier in Marseille, South of France. Care: Hand wash or machine wash at or below 30°C, gentle or delicate cycle, do not bleach, do not tumble dry, iron on the reverse side. Wash inside a pillowcase to protect the thread from rubbing.
