About the Item
Swedish 19th century fold art painting of Christ preaching in simplified neoclassical surroundings, to a segregated congregation and two dogs!
This central motif is surrounded by typical panels of urns and foliate decorations. Possibly painted by Torrångs Olof Samuelsson, (1794-1864) on a farm named Ovanmyra, north of Rättvik in Dalarna.
Of Swedish origin, circa 1826.
