Two Large, 18th Century Figural Tapestries from France

About the Item

Two large, 18th century, French figural tapestries, each with a central male figure standing in nature, one blowing a hunting horn and one with his arm raised in a searching gesture. Both with a frame of fruits and flowers. These tapestries have gorgeous sepia tones. Some small losses that could use restoration. Each with a velcro strip sewn onto the top edge of the back.
