1970s Capiz Shell Faux Turtle Shell
About the Item
Great, eye catching decor piece from the 1970s. Nice scale , faux turtle shell, made of capiz shell. The frame is papier -mâché with the shell applied to it. Love this! Wire for hanging on the reverse.

- Condition:Repaired: There was some wear at the base, and where it touched the wall. I just touched it up. Refinished. Wear consistent with age and use. The piece has been stripped, of its original yellowed lacquer, and finished with a clear coat. The interior( wall side). still shows original finish. Hanging wire has been added to the inside.
