About the Item

A nicely carved group of three giltwood cherub heads with outstretched wings and foliate accents, probably 19th century Continental (French or Italian) in origin, in very good overall condition, with some gilt losses and high point rubs, as well as some losses along the base. Three metal support brackets have been added on verso to strengthen the thin carving around the foliate accents on the base. Lockson UK shipper label on verso. Dimensions: 20.75 in H x 49 in W x 5.5 in D. Ref: 8
