During this time, he executed his initial drawings and paintings. The following year, in 1957, he held his first exhibitions in different locations: the Side Walk Art Show in New Britain, the Mattatuck Museum in Waterbury, Connecticut, and the gallery Prigent in Rouen, in November of that year. In 1958, Le Yaouanc enrolled in courses at the Art Students League of New York, where he, along with other students, earned the second prize for their representation of "Luncheon Boaters," a tableau vivant based on Edouard Manet's work. Additionally, he established his first workshop at No. 8 Amsterdam Avenue. In 1965, Le Yaouanc moved to Paris, where he ventured into collage art and had the opportunity to meet influential figures like André Breton and Alejandro Jodorowsky. He actively participated in numerous exhibitions and, later in his career, delved into creating artwork for architectural monuments.
