Bunny Rabbit Head Black Forest Hand Carved Folk Art, 19th Century
About the Item
A great looking hand carved original wooden Folk Art Bunny head wall decoration. A great piece for a suitable ambiance in a trophy room or the office of a Hunter or Woodsman. More than likely one of the Folk Art items made between 1860 and the late 1890s. In remarkably good as found condition with only a few small paint lost on the trophy plaque. Part of the lower decoration was probably old repaired and glued back on or already made that way. See pictures. Found at an estate sale in Wels, Austria. We think this will be a nice addition to your Collection of Black Forest items and - or as decoration in your Cabinet, Hunters lodge or Farm House.
