Collection of Nine (9) Cast Stone Art Deco Plaques
About the Item
Dating from the last few years when late Art Deco buildings incorporated figural panels in their facades, these exquisite bas reliefs were sculpted by Chuck Dodson, an artist active in the Miami area, for the Dupont Plaza Hotel constructed in 1957 in downtown Miami. Composed of cast white concrete, and exhibiting a handsome patina from years of exposure to Miami weather, these panels celebrate the sunny Art Deco times of South Florida.
