Relief carving of pinewood depicting The Three Graces, one of the most classical subjects of Greek and Roman antiquity.  Carving tools are used to create the image until it becomes three dimensional and protrudes from the background.  Wheat is wreathed around the relief, symbolizing fertility and prosperity.
