Mid-Century Modern Brutalist Amber Lucite and Brushed Aluminum Wall Sculpture
About the Item
This refined Mid-Century Modern brutalist wall sculpture was realized in the United States, circa 1970. It features a patchwork mosaic of adjoined amber forms affixed to a brushed aluminum backplate. The amber shapes occupy an interesting liminal space between organic and geometric, transparent and opaque. Idiosyncratic in form, and sophisticated in palate, this piece is sure to delight discerning collectors of brutalist objects, as well as those with an appreciation for unusual (and beautiful) artwork. It is in excellent vintage condition.
