A small wall plaque with detailed relief carvings worked out of linden wood by Johann Rint, circa 1880. Probably depicting a scene after stories by Joseph Victor von Scheffel - a famous german literary man in the 19th century. With carved signature: "Rint". Frame renewed.

Height 5.12" (13cm)
