Wallpaper: The designs are printed on Uncoated Non-woven 147gsm. This design will also be available on Coated Non-woven 147gsm. The uncoated wallpaper has a matt finish and vibrant but gentle, muted colours. The Coated wallpaper has a slight shine, is more wipeable and has deeper colours.
Fire rating: Fire certified for both Europe and the USA. Classified to BS En 13501-1-1:2002, class B, s1, d0
This new design was created as a bespoke design for the the Alladale Wilderness Reserve in the Scottish Highlands, leader in rewilding movement, and recognised as Europe’s most eco-friendly hotel by the recent Boutique Hotel Awards. The design features endangered species such as white-tailed eagles, pearl-bordered fritillaries and Scottish wildcats, which Alladale is actually helping to breed. Other iconic elements include heather, Spear thistle, and black grouse. Handsome Dan, their most spectacular resident Red Deer also makes an appearance. A towering Caledonian pine is home to a pair of Scottish crossbills, the only British bird found nowhere else in the world. The Alladale River meanders through this rolling scenic design which builds upon the current passion in interiors for honouring the natural world. Available as wallpaper, printed linen and, soon, as a velvet.
This is an eco-friendly fine gicleé digitally-printed “real” wallpaper. It is printed in the UK on a natural non-woven cellulose-based substrate made from recycled materials, recycled polyester (PET) fibre and recycled wood pulp. The production process is solvent free with minimal waste and energy inputs.

For every metre of fabric and roll of wallpaper sold, 100m2 of wild habitat is preserved through our collaboration with World Land Trust. For bespoke projects such as boutique hotels, the notable flora and fauna of specific sites are researched, illustrated and transformed into unique wall-coverings and textile designs. Founded in September 2016, Newton Paisley has already won several important awards, such as inclusion as Best in Show at the 2018 ICFF and one of Six Top New Products at the International Contemporary Furniture Fair in NYC by Architectural Digest.

A Coated option which provides deeper colours, a more wipeable surface and a slight shine can be produced on special order.
All Newton Paisley designs are also produced as printed linen, suitable for drapery and upholstery.

This design is the culmination of several years Dr Susy Paisley spent living in, and besotted with, Mexico. It celebrates the incredible diversity of Mexican cacti. Mexico is one of the world's centre of endemism for this group of plants, and includes marvels like the Creeping Devil, a cactus in this design which actually moves across the desert floor! Cacti are enjoying a new popularity, but globally, one out of three cacti is in need of conservation attention. The design includes the Chisos Mountain hedgehog cactus, hallucinogenic Peyote, a critically endangered dragon fruit, which forms the long tendrils in the design, and lesser long-nosed bat (an essential pollinator for cacti) and the iconic saguaro and crested saguaro cacti.
