About the Item

Combine solid 14K rose gold, six lustrous cultured sea pearls and two fine, translucent segments of natural and untreated Burmese jadeite in apple green and what do you have? You have a conversation piece for the wrist. You have an extremely high-quality, entirely hand-fabricated jadeite jade bracelet so vividly unique, I have yet to come across another like it in my 900 years of collecting jewelry. It's a showstopper, this. The goldsmithing is quite the performance: bridge-like structures, sturdy and sleek each hold three approximately 5.8mm cultured saltwater pearls; each within four tapered pearls that curl just over the top of each pearl, securing them for all of eternity within this setting. Four three-dimensional gold flowers are set between the lustrous pearls and on either end. The fastener is tight and functions perfectly. There is a safety chain. But it is the natural and untreated jadeite jade that is the story here. Gemmy and translucent, the jadeite segments glow as if on their own accord in even the dimmest light. This is fine, old jade in light apple green. Jade Authority Mason Kay certifies it to be natural and untreated "A" jade. This highly distinctive bangle is visually refreshing. Created in the Retro era of the late 1940s-1950s from beautiful, natural gems. The interior measures approximately 57mm in diameter, expanding to nearly 70mm when open. This bracelet should fit a small to medium-sized wrist quite comfortably. It's sophisticated, timeless, chic and a little bit glamorous. A very unusual jade bangle for a very unusual person who can carry if off. Hallmarked 14K and Hong Kong with the remnants of an eligible maker's mark.
