Riker Brothers Art Nouveau Pair of Gold Bangles
About the Item
Circa 1890s, 14k and 18k, by Riker Brothers, American. This stunning pair of Art Nouveau bangles in the Japanese taste by Riker Brothers features a detailed dragon motif and a rare diamond-set Imperial chrysanthemum design. Delightfully antique-chic, they are uniquely matchless fashion accessories. This pair of bracelets are quintessential examples of how the Riker brothers were central to the Nouveau movement in America. Beautifully made, they are in very good condition.
Noted: They were made in both 14k and 18k, this pair has one of each. Additionally, the patina is a bit different on each, a feature I like; they are all original and have not been polished. If you wish them to match exactly we can match the finishes.
