About the Item

Beautiful preloved 18 karat gold Venetian Etruscan Revival fob charm pendant. The charm is set with four round cabochon cut turquoise gemstones and one smooth blue chalcedony gemstone at the bottom. The gold surface is decorated with cannetille, rope motifs, rosettes and wirework. The rosette wirework is also-called 'spiders', the small dome in the center represents the spiders body surrounded by its legs. The turquoise gemstone is said to bring luck, peace, and protection, and it's also one of the birthstones associated with the month of December. Turquoise provides more than just the beauty of its blue color. Blue chalcedony is a nurturing stone and it absorbs negative energy. Blue chalcedony brings the mind, body, emotions and spirit into harmony. It instills feelings of benevolence and generosity and helps promote peaceful assertiveness this can bring peaceful resolution to conflicts. Chalcedony is the birthstone of the month May. The wonderful thing about charms is that you can collect them as wearable memories and add them to your necklace, charm bracelet or layered with your other favorites. The charm is in very good condition and of high quality. The charm measures 38 mm in length, width 26 mm and weighs 11.46 grams. The turquoise stones measure 6 mm in diameter. The chalcedony stone at the bottom measures 6 mm in length and width 10x10 mm. Unmarked. Tested as 18 karat gold. Most of our charms come with an open jump ring, which is used to attach them to a bracelet or necklace. We recommend this ring to be closed professionally by soldering them together before wearing - this can be done by your local jeweler.
