This Lotus Ananta (Infinity) bracelet is part of Agaro Jewels’ Ananta Collection. All Agaro jewelry is entirely handmade, engraved and enameled with hot fired glass enamel using an ancient 17th century jewelry making art from the ateliers of the Mughal Court. The jewelry that was produced in these Mughal courts was always made using gold at its very purest (22K and higher), delicately wrought and brilliantly fused with magnificent meenakari, or enameling. It was said even Paris could not paint gold to the standard produced within these Mughal ateliers.
Today, Agaro jewelry is made using these same traditions and techniques passed down through generations. The Agaro artisans, many of whom can trace their families back to the Mughal ateliers, create heirloom pieces with detailed enameling on hand wrought 22K gold. Bound in unique infinite patterns this bracelet represent eternal or infinite space. The lotus itself is a symbol of spiritual awakening. According to Hindu mythology, there is a serpent on which Lord Vishnu is often depicted resting. This serpent is called Ananta-Shesh ( Ananta - Eternal, Shesh- Remainder). That which remains when all else ceases to exist.
This hinged bracelet is for wrist circumference size of 6 inches or smaller with a screw locking system and a safety chain.
In 22K gold, 0.2 carat blue sapphires and vitreous enamel.
