On offer is this gorgeous 9CT GOLD ROLLED RUBY AND PEARL PASTE HINGED BANGLE BRACELET DETAILS Material: Thick 9ct Rolled Gold (Rosey Yellow) Style: Hinged Cuff with Ruby and Pearl Paste stones. Age: Antique mid 1800s (c1870s) Condition: Very Good (especially for age) Hallmark: Exempt This is NOT solid gold (hence price). 9ct Rolled Gold is an antique technique where solid gold is fused onto a base metal. Assay standards state that to call an item as such a MINIMUM of 10% must be made of 9ct Gold. The end result is a gold bracelet that will last a lifetime if looked after but won't dent like the modern hollow ones will. It is a truly noticeable and eye-catching piece of jewellery. It is in very good condition with no noticeable signs of wear. It could easily be polished to "as new" if required, though I am not a fan of vintage things looking new. SIZING INFORMATION Length 8 Inches approx (inner circumference) Width 8.8mm Total mass 223.4 grams. Fastening: Unusual reverse screwing catch - very secure. It is very well made and elaborate.
