About the Item
French designer, Madeline Vionnet, 1913-74, is considered to be one of the most influential fashion designers of the 20th century, introducing the bias cut and the sensual fluid drape of her grecian slave dresses. Her creations mark a distinctive and classically timeless approach to modern fashion. It is a rare privilege to own an authentic original 1930's Vionnet design. The brand new 21st century resurgence of the House of Vionnet is, in the world of serious fashion, both extremely noteworthy and extremely exciting! Fashionistas and celebrities worldwide are enchanted with the House of Vionnet's historic re-emergence into fashion and accessories.
Vionnet 18K gold plated on jewelers metal hammered sculptural large cuff designed with an art deco inspiration.
Distinctive in proportion and design with a fairly heavy weight. Contoured shape with artisian designed pleats cover half of the body of the cuff. Ice blue Swarovski crystals are pave set in a 1" x 4 1/4" swirl. Square cut crystals create a rib to bridge between the pave and 18kt gold plate. This a runway piece from the A/W 2011 collection and was produced in very limited production. Orig sold at Neiman Marcus and Bergdorf Goodman.
3" deep on top and approx 7 1/4" around end-to-end and will accommodate small, medium and even a large wrist. There is 1 1/2" cuff opening and a jeweler can fit to accommodate your size wrist if needed. Condition: new in box
