Antique 31.54 Carat Diamond and Platinum Bracelet - Circa 1925

A magnificent, fine and impressive antique art deco 31.54 carat diamond and platinum bracelet; part of our 1920s diamond jewellery collections. This magnificent, fine and impressive antique 1920s Art Deco bracelet has been crafted in platinum. The anterior portion of this antique bracelet has a substantial pierced decorated domed design embellished with three central four-claw set 0.63ct, 0.41ct and 0.40ct transitional modern brilliant round cut diamonds totalling 1.44cts, in a horizontal linear formation. This central formation incorporates four further diamonds, in addition to forty-two claw set transitional modern brilliant round cut diamonds to the domed portion. This pierced decorated convex setting incorporates a paralleling border embellished with thirty individually collet set baguette cut diamonds. The strap of this antique diamond bracelet conjoins with the central setting via two articulated tapering lugs, each ornamented with three baguette cut diamonds. The stunning substantial and broad, tapering strap is embellished with fifteen further individually four-claw set transitional modern brilliant round cut diamonds to the centre of paralleling borders ornamented with a total of one-hundred and thirty-six baguette cut diamonds, all gradating in size dependent on location. This finely articulated bracelet secures with an integrated push fit clasp to the reverse; the clasp bears the reverse design to that of the strap, with collet set baguette cut diamonds to the centre and claw-set transitional modern brilliant round diamonds to the border. This magnificent bracelet has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as platinum. This impressive bracelet is supplied with three IDGL diamond grading report certificates for the feature stones, in addition to an IDGL diamond grading report card for the supporting stones. This stunning example of 1920s jewellery is fitted to a period leatherette presentation box with satin and velvet lined interior, securing with a push fit catch. The interior of the box cover bears the retailer's mark 'By appointment to H. M. The Queen, Goldsmiths, Crown Jewellers, Garrard & Co Ltd, 112 Regent Street W1'. This spectacular and important Art Deco multi-diamond bracelet in this high content and grade of diamond, in addition to being crafted in platinum, indicates the high quality of the piece; bracelets such as this are rare to the market. This stunning, fine and impressive antique bracelet has been crafted in platinum. The pierced decorated bracelet consists of thirty-four graduated articulated links, the largest at the centre. The central link of the anterior setting is embellished with an impressive feature 0.51Ct transitional modern brilliant round cut diamond in subtle relief. The two articulated links to either side of this principle stone create a rectangular setting, accented with a central horizontal array embellished with six further transitional modern brilliant round cut diamonds, graduating in size dependant on their location. This anterior setting is further ornamented with a paralleling border of thirty-six transitional modern brilliant round cut diamonds. This stunning feature design tapers via a continuation of the aforementioned horizontal array to two impressive bifurcating links, to either side; this lug-style design incorporates thirty diamonds. The setting conjoins twenty-five further square links, each individually set with an impressive transitional modern brilliant round cut diamond. The anterior surface of each link is ornamented with impressive millegrain decoration, framing the pierced decorated diamond arrangements. The bracelet secures with an integrated push fit clasp to the reverse, and benefits from the additional security of a safety chain. The bracelet is fitted to a fine and impressive velvet push fit presentation box with a velvet and satin lined interior, securing with a push fit catch. This antique diamond bracelet has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as platinum. This impressive antique bracelet is supplied with an independent diamond grading report certificate for the feature stone, in addition to an independent diamond grading report card for the supporting stones. This stunning antique diamond and platinum watch has a circular form. The wristwatch has a watch face displaying bold black Arabic numerals within a circular, minute marked chapter ring. This impressive ladies diamond watch is fitted with blued steel hands and has a plain crown/winder. The platinum bezel is encircled with twenty-five eight cut diamonds and accented with shaped lugs, each accented with a further four diamonds.. The anterior surface of the articulated bracelet style strap consists of two curvilinear links and conjoined with rectangular connectors. Each pierced decorated link is ornamented with further eight-cut diamonds. The diamond links conjoin with eight gate-style articulated links, securing to the reverse with an adjustable bar style clasp; this allows the watch to be worn at different lengths. This stunning antique manual wind wrist watch is fitted with a Swiss made 15 jewel movement. The interior of the watch case displays the hallmark for platinum (platine), in addition to the Swiss domestic platinum mark (chamois*, c - La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland) and the reverse of the clasp bears the maker's mark (C&F), the gold mark (9, 375), the Birmingham Assay Office mark (anchor) and the date letter for 1952 (C). This ladies cocktail watch is supplied with an independent diamond grading report card. NOTE: The watch casing was assayed in La Chaux-de-Fonds and bears the chamois mark (1914-1934), this in addition to the style of the piece denotes the date as circa 1925, with a later added gate style strap and clasp.
