This incredible bracelet from Roberto Coin is stylish, elegant, and versatile. Since 1996, Robert Coin jewelry has been crafted in the Veneto region of Northern Italy, also known as the "City of Gold." Every Robert Coin piece has a signature small red ruby stone representing Robert's good wishes for anyone wearing his jewelry. This beautiful designer bracelet features a polished 18-karat yellow gold mesh bracelet with a pave diamond bead. The incredible Italian gold is woven into a flexible mesh design. The bracelet has three crossover gold bands linked by a diamond pave white gold bead. There are 22 round brilliant cut diamonds with a total carat weight of 0.25 carats. The icy white diamonds have a clarity of VS-1 to VS-2 and a color of G-H. The bracelet bead also features a small round natural ruby and engravement with "18 Kt ITALY ☆1226-VI". The bracelet has an inner circumference of approximately 6 3/4" and a roughly 2 1/8" diameter. This bracelet will fit a wrist that is approximately 6 1/4" inches. The approximate width of all the bands together is approximately 6mm wide. The beautiful bracelet weighs approximately 12.4 grams. In his debut Appassionata collection in 1996, Italian designer Roberto Coin (b. 1944) made the ruby a core element of his designs. Inspired by ancient Egyptian and Burmese traditions of wearing a ruby against the skin as a talisman of love, joy and protection, Coin set a small ruby on the inside of his necklaces, rings and bracelets. The hidden ruby became Coin’s signature as he launched his brand as a groundbreaking innovator in quality Italian craftsmanship.

Coin’s talent lies in working with precious metals and creating unexpected designs by combining white, rose and yellow gold. Coin was initially a successful hotelier before leaving that career to pursue his passion for jewelry. Although he was born in Venice, Coin chose to set up his studio in Vicenza, Italy. Coin was interested in bringing new technology into Italian jewelry manufacturing, such as using machines originally intended to weave metal for car exhaust pipes to spin the gold wires for his jewelry.
