Antique Celtic Eternity Knot Symbol Orient Pearls 15 Karat Gold Bracelet Locket
About the Item
This very unusual early Victorian jewel is of timeless elegance. The hinged bracelet with it's locket is decorated with the celtic symbol for eternity, the eternity knot. Three rows of small oriental pearls, embedded in stripes of dark blue enamel, form the knot. The golden edges of the blue stripes show finely chiselled ornamentation. The front of the locked is engraved around the edges..
The two articulated arms are held in place by a two ribbons, one overlapping the other, each set with oriental pearls, decorated to either side with dark blue enamel.
The reverse of the locket shows plaited hair covered by glas.
