This stunning Mississippi swamp marble Bakelite carved bracelet bangle features a domed shape with three flat areas and carved designs. The design boasts vine and bunches of grapes with black contrast. Intense gold butterscotch marble tone with black-brown cloudy swirling, also called Mississippi swamp color. Measurements: Inside across is 2.63 in diameter (6.7 cm) - outside across is 3.19 in diameter (8.1 cm) - width is 0.63 in wide (1.6 cm) - Inner circumference is 8.69 in long (22 cm). Dr. Leo Bakeland invented Bakelite in the early 1900s. Bakeland discovered that the material would cool quickly and wouldn’t melt, regardless of the temperatures.
